Hey everyone! @inksplotched here - or, as I’ve been calling myself for the last couple of months, ~Admin #1~. Admins #2 and #3 have been out of commission for a while, and I think it’s safe to say they won’t be updating anytime soon (although I won’t make definite statements! this may change!) Myself - I’m on indefinite hiatus. I’m taking a break from Tumblr in general to enjoy my friends, my housemates, my college campus, my classes… my opportunities, basically, my life, that I was ignoring for weeks in favor of the internet. It was sad. So I stopped doing that.
I’ve never, ever said that running an ASOIAF-related confessions blog is something I’ve got some sort of unique claim on. If you want to do so, go for it! Godspeed. I wish you luck in dealing with the high volume of submissions [Photoshop is time-consuming!], the ridiculous fucking opinions of this fandom, and the entitled whiny douchebags who bitch to no end if the way you run things isn’t exactly the way they’d run things. But! It is worth it. For every batch of confessions you slave over, you get sweet, sweet people giving props to your choice of images [thanks to everyone who complimented our snark - it was our only way of dealing, sometimes]. For every ridiculous fucking opinion, you get a breath of fresh air. For every entitled whiny douchebag, you get love and support. So have fun!
This blog was originally intended to last maybe a week or two - I noticed the trend, starting with buffyconfessions, and hopped on board. I definitely didn’t expect to reach 1300+ followers and a steady flow of submissions (we’ve got 300+ untouched confessions in our inbox right now), or for the demand for more updates to continue for months. Thanks for participating, everyone, you helped quell a boring summer and make my involvement in ASOIAF fandom a little more interesting!
(And for those who are wondering - no, I still haven’t finished ADWD, but I probably know enough about its plot points to hold a fucking debate.)

Admin #2 here - it’s been Admin #1’s personal choice to keep it to us three (as Admin #1 has previously stated - they are the Admin who’s answering non-confession-asks here). It’s just unfortunate that we’re all insanely busy during this one month - I for one am working a whopping 62 hours a week and trying to get my stuff together to run off to Titan Con this coming weekend. I will try my utmost best to get something posted as soon as I can (my personal tumblr account has also suffered, as has my online presence in general), though a little more patience would be much appreciated by us all.
with each message i receive about the lack of updates it makes me more annoyed and pissed off and tired and less likely to actually open photoshop to make a batch. three times in the past week i’ve set aside time to make a batch and then i’ll get some rude, entitled ask and just completely not be in the mood.
this is something i started for fun. you make me want to let it sit and gather dust, empty, just to spite any rude, entitled assholes who kill it for the other 1,200 odd followers who also are waiting for updates but aren’t being rude, entitled assholes about it.
